Unfortunately, not all antivirus products check downloaded files for malicious code. This requires writing unpackers for all known protection methods and packers, which is only possible for industry leaders. Some antivirus companies take a simpler approach. All files that their product cannot unpack and analyze are considered suspicious or even malicious. To solve this problem, you can use a comprehensive solution. The licensed version of DotFix NiceProtect signs the protected files with IEEE Taggant certificate issued by us in your name or company name, which slightly reduces the number of false positives. Then you need to sign the protected file with a Code Signing certificate (purchased from one of the certification centers, such as GlobalSign, Sectigo or Verisign). This will usually reduce the number of false positives to zero. If there are still one or two false positives after this step, you need to send an email to the corresponding antivirus company or submit your files to the false positive report form. Problem will be resolved from their side.
