Is this software safe?
DotFix NiceProtect does not include viruses, Trojans, or browser plug-ins and does not collect personal information. During protection, it intentionally modifies EXE, DLL, and OCX files by obfuscating, virtualizing, and packing their code and data. Because the newly protected file has not yet been signed, some antivirus products may block the protection process or immediately quarantine the output based on automated heuristic detections. If this happens, temporarily disable real-time protection or add narrowly scoped exclusions for NiceProtect and its working and output folders before starting protection. Keep real-time protection disabled only until the protected file has been created and digitally signed with your Authenticode code-signing certificate. Re-enable your antivirus immediately after signing, scan the signed file again, and report any remaining false positives to the corresponding antivirus vendors.
Installing the software
After downloading and extracting the archive, run the installer. Windows User Account Control may ask whether you want to allow the installer to make changes to the device. Confirm only after verifying that you downloaded the file from the official NiceProtect website, then follow the installation wizard.
